Northeast Medical

Multi-location healthcare

Northeast Medical is a pain management group with offices across New York and New Jersey. Patients arrive in pain and worried about cost, so the site had to feel human, make five locations easy to reach, and answer the insurance question before it became a reason to leave.

Inside the design.

Seven decisions that shape how Northeast Medical works, shown on the live site itself.

First screen

It talks about the patient’s life, not the clinic.

“Move with less pain. Live with more freedom.” is about what the patient gets back. It’s set in a 115px serif over a photo of someone walking outdoors, not an exam room. The row underneath (five offices, two specialist physicians, one plan per patient) does the credibility work quietly.

Navigation

Five offices, one row.

A slim top bar lists every location, the phone number and the email before the main menu even starts. The main menu then follows the patient’s questions: conditions, treatments, education, reviews, locations.

Typography

Warm headlines, plain-language body.

A serif gives headlines the voice of a trusted doctor; DM Sans keeps explanations simple. Body copy runs at 18px with 1.65 line height, because medical content gets read slowly and carefully.

Color

Navy for trust, gold for the next step.

Soft paper and sage backgrounds keep the page gentle. Navy anchors the serious sections, and gold is used only for the booking button, so the one thing a patient needs to find is the only gold thing on the page.

Page structure

Listening comes before treatments.

The page opens with how care begins (listening), then the specialists, then accessibility and coverage, then patient stories and education. Cost anxiety is answered in the middle, exactly where a patient starts wondering.

Calls to action

The insurance question gets its own button.

Besides Schedule your appointment, the page offers Verify your coverage. It removes the most common reason patients hesitate to book, and it turns a worry into an action.

Mobile

The booking button is the width of the screen.

On a phone the gold button spans the full 354px content width, right under a 39px headline. The language switch moves into the header so Spanish and Arabic speakers find it immediately.
